Beauty and the Beast is a classic fairy tale.  Set in the French countryside, a brave young woman offers her freedom to save her father from a fearsome, unsightly beast living in a hidden castle, ultimately discovering his kind heart beneath the fur.

We are looking for hardworking, energetic performers who aren’t afraid to get into character in front of their family and friends, project their voice, and have a good time!  If that’s you, sign up for Chevy Chase Elementary’s, The Reluctant Dragon.  Tryouts will be on Thursday, October 8 to determine the roles.  The rehearsals will begin the following week and will meet on the days listed below. The performance date is Thursday, March 18^th  for a daytime and evening show.  Please note:  Registration is on a first come, first served basis.

Cast members are responsible for their costumes with guidance from the director.

There will be NO ACTIVITY BUS ON 12/10, 12/17,  January 7, 2027 .

Please hold Thursday, March 11th & Tuesday, March 16th open for dress rehearsals.
