The Princess Aurora is born and celebrated throughout the land until a Wicked Fairy and her Gruesome Ghouls cast their evil spell. Aurora grows among the Good Fairies and lovable Forest Animals where she meets the handsome Prince of her dreams. When Aurora pricks her finger, everyone including the audience participate in the great battle to free the beauty from her untimely sleep. The prince gives Sleeping Beauty her true love's kiss. Order is restored and everyone lives happily ever after.
We are looking for hardworking, energetic performers who aren’t afraid to get into character and have a good time. If that’s you, sign up for Chevy Chase Elementary’ s Winter play, Alice in Wonderland. Tryouts will be on Thursday, October 5 to determine the roles. The rehearsals will begin the following week and will meet on the days listed below. The performance date is Thursday, March 14th for a daytime and evening show. Please note: Registration is on a first come, first served basis.
Cast members are responsible for their costumes with guidance from the director.
NO ACTIVITY BUS WILL BE AVAILABLE

Final performance of the winter play will be on Thursday,
March 14th at 2:00 and at 7:00pm.
